Medically Supervised Weight Loss Program

A Better You Weight Management Centers, LLC offers a 100% personalized medically supervised weight loss program for every patient. Each weight loss program is designed to help you take weight off and keep it off for life.

After meeting with one of our doctors (Dr. Rebecca Cipriano, Dr. Hiedi Vizzoni or Dr. Monica Bais) for an initial consultation, Dr. Rebecca Cipriano, Dr. Hiedi Vizzoni or Dr. Monica Bais and our trained A Better You staff will work with you to determine which medically supervised weight loss program is right for you based on your personal weight loss goals. In order to tailor a weight loss program to our patients individual needs, patients are asked to obtain medical clearance from their primary care physician. Once clearance has been obtained, a second visit at the A Better You is scheduled with one of our doctors (Dr. Rebecca Cipriano, Dr. Hiedi Vizzoni or Dr. Monica Bais) to develop a completely customized weight management plan. Patients will receive a healthy food choice plan, an exercise plan, essential dietary supplements, sample menus and more.

An optional component of our medically supervised weight loss program is the short-term use of FDA approved weight loss medication. The medication is an appetite suppressant that helps curb cravings during the first four weeks of a patient's personalized weight loss program. During the time our patients are on medication, our trained A Better You staff works with our patients to break them from old nutritional habits. Patients must receive medical clearance from their primary care physician to be eligible for a medication regimen. It is important to note that medication is by no means the A Better You patients sole factor for success. Adherence to new, healthy eating patterns and a devotion to making a lifestyle change are the key factors for success in our weight loss program.

Once your goal weight has been achieved, you may choose to continue with one of our maintenance weight loss programs. Our A Better You staff can discuss these options with you upon completion of a weight loss program.

Our doctors:

Dr. Rebecca Cipriano is a board certified Medical Doctor who has been in private practice for over ten years. With a Masters Degree in Clinical Nutrition, she is passionate about helping patients achieve a healthy lifestyle. Motivating patients over the years has now developed into an exciting new medically supervised weight loss program called A Better You.

Dr. Hiedi Vizzoni is a board certified Family Practice physician who has been in private practice for over 10 years. Her mission is to help people change their lives to live a happier life. She found the perfect place to fulfill her mission at A Better You Weight Loss Center in New Jersey.

Dr. Monica Bais is a board certified internist who has been in private practice for over 13 years. She is dedicated to helping individuals achieve a healthy lifestyle through a balance of fitness and nutrition. A Better You has been an ideal avenue by which she can achieve this goal.

Our nutritionists:

Stephanie Leonetti, a nutritionist for A Better You, received a Bachelors of Science in Nutritional Sciences from Rutgers University. Stephanie is dedicated to the field of Nutritional Sciences and working with others to live healthier, better lifestyles. She remains engaged and informed through research studies within the field to determine the best course for her patients.

Carolyn Fazio, a nutritionist who earned a Bachelor's degree from Rutgers University in Nutritional Science/Dietetics. Also, earning a Personal Trainer certification through W.I.T.S to help use both fields as a unit because health and fitness truly are tied together when it comes to wellness. I am passionate about nutrition and fitness especially when helping individuals over come obstacles. I am a true believer about giving advice to individuals about making behavioral modifications and applying this concept to ones lifestyle. Lifestyle is an important factor in a person and their decisions on food which helps a person make wiser and healthier choices because lifestyle is a way of life.
